Going on guys. This your boy Janna Liquidator back with another live and I’m here to tell you oh we got a lot to talk about today bro. We have a lot to discuss in this one. One thing being that the Indiana Fever has picked up their fifth consecutive straight win. This is their best record in over 10 years and they have a chance to become second place in WNBA rankings. Yes.
So all the people that said that the Indiana Fever was out of contentions to winning the WNBA championships, I’m here to tell you they all looking silly today. They looking silly today. Five straight. And mind you, the odd makers had picked the Indiana Fever to actually lose this game in Seattle. In Seattle. No one thought that they can go to Seattle and get a win on the road.
And I’m here to tell you it got shaky in the fourth quarter. So, uh, I’m happy that we kept our composure even though Seattle won on the 110 run. Uh, we’ve been through situations like that, but I think that we just stayed together and we talked about it and we, uh, moved on to the next play. I also think it it shows the growth that we’ve had as a team because early in the season, we were just so inconsistent and if teams were to do that, we would normally lose those games.

But, it just shows that we’re getting closer. We’re trusting each other. Um, and we’re just I think that’s the biggest part is trusting and knowing that we can win those games even if they go on runs. To your point about the consistency, there’s been a lot of ups and downs in the WBA this season to to take care of business in a winning streak like this.
What does that sort of say about how this team has come together? Yeah, you know, Seattle’s a great team, a great great team, and it’s hard to play here. And so, we knew that. We knew that they just came off kind of a bad loss against LA. Um, and so they were hungry for a win, but for us, it’s not about other teams.
It’s about our standard. It’s about stacking the days. And I think that where our mental at as a team and as individuals, uh, we’re in a really good spot. And, you know, it’s not going to be easy. uh moving forward. But I think today we stayed true to the scout. We trusted the offense. Uh Kelsey has been playing having a hell of a season.
She was a little bit off, but she facilitated uh for us offensively down the stretch. And then it just shows that everyone has something to give even if your scoring’s not going to be there. Um but I don’t know. I’m just proud of our team and I’m proud that we stacked today else for making this thing known. So, before I get into this tweet about them not passing the ball to Sophie, cuz we’re going to talk about that right now.

So, as y’all can see here, shout out to the homeboy Andy. This was the three-point shooting percentage of the team today. And we’re going to start with Natasha Howard. Now, she had brains. She only chunked up one. She seen the first one ain’t go. She said, “You know what? I’m done. I’m not gonna chunk up anymore.” We have to uh talk about none other than Kelsey Mitchell.
I hate to say this, but I got to say it. This was a game that I feel like Kelsey Mitchell should have been pulled out. She should have been pulled out for her shooting slump, her turnovers. She was just doing too much. Kelsey Mitchell should have been pulled out of this game. To me, if they would have lost this game, it would have been because of Stephanie White not pulling us Kelsey Mitchell out of this game.
Kelsey Mitchell, you cannot go zero from eight from three, two of 15 from the field, two of 15 from the field and play 29 minutes. No way. No way. She cannot do Hell no. Hell no. I know she’s an allstar. I know she’s a a baller. She’s a scorer. I know these things. But you cannot go to a 15 or eight from three and play 29 damn minutes.
and play 29 minutes. How is that? How is that? I mean, guys, Kelsey Mitchell was shooting threes. The team was up in the fourth quarter, right? So, the team was up, I believe, by six. It was six or or maybe eight. Now, typically in most basketball games when the team is winning the damn game, right, you watch the shot clock and you don’t shoot the damn ball until it get down to like five, three seconds.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Kelsey Mitchell, she don’t play like that. Kelsey Mitchell, if it get down to 13 seconds, she’s shooting a damn ball. Mind you, guys. Mind you. Mind you, mind you. Kelsey Mitchell. So for all the people saying that Kelsey is better than Caitlyn because there was a groin debate of people online.
I don’t know what the hell wrong with people, but they’ve been on this damn debate. Kelsey Mitchell went 08 from three, two of 15 from the field and played 29 minutes. My goodness. Oh my goodness. I mean, she played horrendous. I mean it was bad. I mean it was bad. And to make assault even worseer, right? To make assault even worse, right? My homeboy Andy said they haven’t given the ball to Sophie Cunningham since mid third quarter.
She is four five from three. The rest of the team is 0 of 17. 0 of 17. How many threes did Sophie Cunningham have? Uh, four or five. Now, let’s go pull up the uh ESPN website so we can get the final the final numbers of everything. Let’s Let’s go pull it up. Let’s head on over to to uh ESPN. ESPN WNBA.
Let’s get this thing pulled up because I want to see the final numbers today. the final numbers today from this damn game because my goodness. My goodness. Where’s we at? Here we go. I need to see this right here. Where’s the damn box score? No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Give me a quick second, guys. I’m I’m This was her best game as an Indiana Fever, guys.
How many shots did Mitchell take? Oh my Jesus. You want to know? Let’s pull it up. Let’s see here. Kelsey Mitchell. She was three. Hold on. So, she ended up making one at the end. So, she was three and 16 from the field or eight or eight from three. What’s this? Three or four in free throws. And yeah, she only had nine total points. nine total points.
Kelsey Mitchell played very very bad. I mean, she played really, really bad. She played really, really bad. How many I mean, it was bad. Sophie today. I think Sophie did Did Sophie start? Let’s see. I believe she did though. I just I just want to see. Sophie has been balling. Come on, man. Quit moving on slow.
Sophie has been balling. Guys, the press conferences has not came out yet. Oh, that didn’t show the starters today. I believe she started though. Yeah, guys. Um, crazy crazy game. Shout out to Sophie, though. Sophie showed up and showed out. Sophie made it when uh she had to. And uh Stephanie White not pulling um not pulling uh Kelsey Mitchell out of this game is is is definitely going to be the the uh talk of the town.
