Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham told people to stop throwing sex toys on the court, and then she became a victim of it.
During the Fever’s road game against the Los Angeles Sparks, the game halted in the first half because a green dildo hit the court, seemingly thrown in the direction of Cunningham.
The Fever guard had been vocal on social media about the danger of throwing items like this on the court, and you could see her recoil from being hit.
Sparks guard Kelsey Plum wasted little time as she kicked the item off the court, as fans rightfully booed in the stands for what had taken place.
It is the third instance of a green sex toy being hurled onto a WNBA court in the past few weeks, in what has become a growing trend among fans.
The first came in a game in Atlanta on July 29, and it happened again in Chicago on Aug. 1
Now, the latest incident has also made Sophie Cunningham the victim, which leads you to believe that she was likely targeted.

A lime green airborne adult toy strikes again as Sophie Cunningham becomes the latest unwilling target in the WNBA’s bizarre new trend.
The Fever guard was outspoken about the previous incidents, and now it appears that a fan purposely targeted her.
We all know that once you start speaking out against something, others take it as a challenge.
Arena security will have to do a better job checking fans when they make their way inside to watch games, or else this will continue to happen.
